My First Violin

My daughter asked me to make a miniature violin for her dollhouse. I've been doing it all weekend and today I finally finished it.
I think the result resembles, at least a little bit right violin. Particularly difficult was to get the proportions right. The length is about 4,3 cm.  Pegs and bridge was also quite a challenging task. The strings are real gut.  I "borrowed" those from my daughters 1:1 violin. :) The miniature violin still lack the bow.

It was rainy day...

On a rainy day I usually find time to craft. Today I managed to craft many umbrellas. Although the day is gray may these umbrellas brighten the day.

Primavera Dish

Are you bored of these dishes? I got excited again to make a new set of dishes. This series is called Primavera. The original pattern is designed by Ester Tomula. They made these 1970-1974. I made a deep dish, food dish, terrine, a serving tray, a pitcher, a small plate and cup.

Dishes again

For some reason, I'm fond of this porcelain tableware. I did new deep soup plates, terrine and setting plates. I also made a little smaller soup bowls for cerials or warm soup.

This time I played with my little miniatures, and I made a new table setting on a white shabby chic table. I think the result looks fresh and nice.

Needels and pins

Spring-like colors and a book full of wonderful ideas. I was inspired to make pin cushions and little idea books.
